Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information McClean Services collects when you request a quote, contact us or book a cleaning service, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are

McClean Services provides residential and commercial cleaning across selected areas of London and Kent. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it and the rights you have.

2. What information we collect

When you use our quote form or contact form we collect the details you enter, which may include:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • Your postcode and details about the property (type, bedrooms, bathrooms, premises type)
  • The service you need, how often, and your preferred date and time
  • Any additional notes you choose to give us about the job
  • Your preferred way of being contacted

If you call, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we will hold the contact details and the content of that conversation so we can respond and arrange the work.

3. Why we use your information

  • To prepare and send you a quotation
  • To confirm availability, agree the service and arrange the booking
  • To contact you about your enquiry or an existing booking
  • To keep records of work carried out, payments and any issues raised
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We rely on your consent when you submit an enquiry, on the performance of our agreement with you once a booking is confirmed, and on our legitimate interests to run and keep records of the business. We do not use your details for marketing without your permission.

4. How our forms are processed (Web3Forms)

Our quote form and contact form are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-processing provider. When you submit a form, the answers you entered are sent to Web3Forms, which forwards them to our business email address.

Web3Forms processes the submission on our behalf and may briefly handle technical data such as your IP address for delivery and spam prevention. Please only include information that is necessary for your enquiry.

5. Contact by phone, WhatsApp or email

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, that communication is handled through the relevant telephone, messaging or email provider under their own terms. We use those channels only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange or manage your cleaning.

6. How long we keep information

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: normally kept for up to 12 months
  • Customer and booking records: kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards
  • Records needed for tax and accounting: kept for as long as the law requires

We delete or securely dispose of information once we no longer need it.

7. Who we may share information with

  • Cleaners and staff carrying out your booking, so they can attend and complete the work
  • Our form-processing, email and messaging providers, as described above
  • Professional advisers, accountants or insurers where reasonably necessary
  • Authorities or regulators where we are legally required to do so

We do not sell your personal information.

8. Information stored on your device

To make the quote form easier to complete, your progress is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device so you do not lose your answers. This is cleared when your quote is submitted, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete information where we no longer need it
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it
  • Ask us to transfer your information to you or another provider, where this applies

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time limits set by law.

10. Raising a concern

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.
